PETALUMA, CA, May 13, 2016: Four TRG drivers are headed to beautiful Laguna Seca raceway for Rounds 5 and 6 of the Pirelli Porsche GT3 Cup Trophy USA this weekend. The Silver-class Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport cars have had plenty of track time with TRG drivers Craig Lyons, Bob Bramlage, Patrice Gautier and Eric Hautemont, and will accrue even more throughout these May 13-15 race days.

Hautemont will race the No. 19 vintage Renault Alpine-inspired Porsche, which has been driven with great success by fellow Frenchman Gautier. Hautemont’s modest on track experience began when he took his NSX and Ferrari 456 GT out on tracks around California. After a 15 year hiatus raising his two young daughters, Hautemont “got bit bad by the bug” again when he drove a Formula 3, and can now be found tracking his orange McLaren 675 LT regularly at Sonoma. Eric will make his debut as a rookie driver racing a Cayman GT4 for half of the season in the Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA. “I couldn’t dream of a better track to start my rookie season of racing than at Laguna Seca,” said Hautemont. “I’m looking forward to a great weekend with TRG!”

Patrice Gautier will drive the No 66 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport. Gautier has done extremely well this season, standing on the podium at Austin and The Thermal Club and is currently 2nd in the Silver Masters points. Craig Lyons and his No. 3 Stor-It Self Storage/Mobettah Collectible Cars Porsche has been working hard in his rookie season and has made huge progress and is looking forward to the big Laguna Seca weekend. Bob Bramlage, with his No. 24 R2 B4 Bramlage Family Foundation Porsche, is optimistic about winding the GT4 Cayman Clubsport down the seven-story Corkscrew after several strong runs this year.

The race weekend begins on Friday, May 13th, with three practice sessions allowing the drivers plenty of track time. Both Saturday and Sunday’s schedule have practice, qualifying, followed by a race for this double-header weekend.
