PETALUMA, CA – April 21, 2016: This weekend, The Racer’s Group (TRG) is at Barber Motorsports Park with drivers Jason Alexandridis and Derek DeBoer for the Pirelli World Challenge Grand Prix of Alabama presented by Porsche. The duo will share the No. 09 BRM/Rebounderz/Racing for Cancer Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4, with DeBoer taking the wheel for Friday’s race and Alexandridis racing on Saturday.

There will be 23 cars fighting for the top step of the podium in the GTS races, the most GT4 cars entered all season. TRG has won at the beautiful Alabama race track many times, including an incredible doubleheader victory with Kris Wilson in 2015. After a tight battle on the streets of St. Petersburg in March, DeBoer and Alexandridis are more than ready to battle through the aggressive field of cars.
Between training for race weekends, the boys at TRG have been keeping very busy. Alexandridis keeps a busy schedule with his indoor trampoline park, Rebounderz, located north of the Bay Area in Rohnert Park. His location was chosen as the store to represent the franchise, and was just filmed for part of a national TV segment on Modern Living with Kathy Ireland.

DeBoer’s partnership with BRM Chronographes now includes TRG as well, with a custom watch released for the team this month. At an incredible 54 grams (less than two ounces), it’s the lightest chronograph-automatic timepiece in hard material on earth. The design cues of TRG’s livery recall the 20+ years of racing legacy, including wins at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 24 Hours of Daytona, Petit Le Mans and races all over North America. More details can be found at Robb Report. With only 25 examples being made, enthusiasts will want to reserve their wristwatch right away by contacting Derek via derekdeboer@me.com.
