LAKEVILLE, Conn. (May 23, 2014) – TRG-Aston Martin Racing North America (TRG-AMR) returns to Lime Rock Park for the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge (CTSCC) GS class race with their sights set on gaining ground in the championship and with both barrels loaded running the 07 and 09 Aston Martin Vantage GT4s. TRG-AMR currently sits second in the points but is going to have to race this weekend without its star driver, Max Riddle.

TRG is one of the most successful and dominant teams to have ever raced at Lime Rock with 4 major victories and 7 podiums. In 2006 and 2011 the team achieved an unprecedented 1-2 finish with 2 separate marques.

Due to a prior family obligation, Max will not be able to compete. His co-driver Kris Wilson will instead share driving duties with TRG driver Peter Ludwig. This pairing will enable the No. 07 La Playa Pilates / Royal Purple Vantage GT4 to continue to keep the momentum in the deep GS class field again this weekend. Ludwig will contest the event with support coming from Santa Barbara, CA based La Playa Pilates. With both drivers familiar members to TRG, the pairing should be a threat for the podium.

Wilson comes off an impressive drive at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca where he was able to capture a podium position on the final corner of the race. He is taking that confidence into a weekend at a track where the Aston Martin has been fast in the past.

Ludwig has a great history with TRG. Peter earned two podiums in 2011 running a limited schedule including a win at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. He looks to continue his performances this weekend at Lime Rock.

The No. 09 Aston Martin will also have a new pairing to TRG-AMR for 2014. The pairing of Martin Fuentes and Santiago Creel will take the wheel of the Vantage GT4 for their first event ever with TRG-AMR. Fuentes has been a strong competitor this year in the Daytona Prototype and PC class and has a solid history in professional racing. Creel currently competes in the IMSA GT3 Cup series for 2014. He has extensive open wheel experience prior and is an aspiring young professional driver. With Fuentes having the weekend off and Creel competing here already in the Porsche GT3 series, the two Mexican natives have added this race to their weekend plans. The No. 09 Vantage will be supported by UNDER ARMOUR, BOMBERG, HOTBOOK, and Loma Linda. These two talented driver will also be looking to race at the front with the very capable Aston Martin.

Fuentes looks to build upon his third place finish at Sebring Raceway in the 12 Hours in the PC class. His past driving resume includes a number of South American sports car series and more recently competition in Grand-AM and IMSA.

Creel also has spent time racing in South America. However, he spent time in open wheel series before more recently moving to sports car competition last year.

Kevin Buckler, CEO, TRG-AMR North America on his home track: “We are all happy to be back at Lime Rock. It has traditionally been one of our very strongest tracks and we have an amazing history here. We always like coming here and just seem to get the set up right. We are all bummed that Max can’t attend this weekend but we are going to fly the flag high for him so we asked our local friend and TRG driver Peter Ludwig to fill in. Peter is superquick and has won for us before and will be a fantastic teammate with Kris, who is on a roll. The team is excited to be adding the 09 car with this strong line-up of Martin and Santiago. They are both solid competitors and we are proud to have them on board. This is going to be a terrific weekend.”
