UPDATE: All four cars finished in the Top 10 (See below)
With the Continental Tire Sports Car Challenge at Barber Motorsports Park this weekend, the third race of the season is on the horizon.
Multimatic Motorsports is running not one, but four Aston Martin Vantage GT4s in the race this weekend, and after qualifying they’re all sitting pretty on the grid.
Jade Buford piloted the No. 55 to the front row in second, while Nic Mancuso rounded out the Top 5. The Multimatic team has been strong in qualifying all year, and obviously shows the quickness of the Aston on the track.
Two more drivers helped put the third and fourth cars in the Top 15. Michael Marsal ended up in ninth after running a 1:36.001, and John Farano put the No. 15 in 15th position to start the race.
The green flag will drop at 4:00pm local time Saturday, and one thing is for certain: the Aston Martins mean business this weekend.
UPDATE:
After a great race, the four Multimatic Motorsports Aston Martin Vantage GT4s all finished in the Top 10, with John Farano and David Empringham just 2.998 seconds behind the leader in third after starting in fifteenth. Close behind the No. 15 of Farano/Empringham was the No. 55 of Jade Buford and Scott Maxwell who finished in fourth.
